This members-only app allows you to create table driven solutions using the methods and formulas covered in SMACNA’s Rectangular Industrial Duct Construction Standards Manual.
You select (or enter manually) all the parameters to define the particulate loading, duct design, duct construction, superimposed dead loads, superimposed live loads, and the duct dimensions.
Based on the defined information, the app generates all conforming construction solutions. The app also checks for bending and buckling issues and reports any needed corrective action. After a panel thickness and stiffener spacing selection is made, a fabrication report is generated which includes all design conditions and the options selected (or manual entry), duct construction details and a sketch of the duct construction.
